Saddle Peak – Summit Of The Andaman Archipelago

Located in the Northern part of the Andaman Island, in Diglipur stand like a tower between the dense meadows of lush green tropical forests. It boasts with an height of 731m, as the highest peak of the Bay of Bengal group of Islands. The peak is surround by a National Park which defines the treasure of the flora and fauna along with water bodies and flowering and fruit bearing plants. This habitat provide a home to extreme biodiversity be it the trees or the animals, there are many who are just holding on to this area and are found to be extinct at other places.

The exploration of this site might be a little difficult if you are alone, suggestion would be to book a guide who would lead your ways to the exact location wherever you wish. The forests here are also open for you to trek or simply explore. Another unique feature of this place the only river of Andaman i.e. kalpong, finds its way through the forests present here and add up to its beauty and necessity.
