The Island where the fields are filled with the plantation of oranges, fruit of the most lovable juice. Surrounded by the woods this Island is a gift of nature to the humanity. Let’s have an indepth exploration of the lands of Mayabunder.

Away from Port Blair of about 242km lies the land of the woods, located in the north of the Middle Andaman. There also exists the tribal group of our historic significance named Burmese Karen tribes who were the logging labourers during the British Raj. Even the beaches here beautify the glory of the Mayabunder Island.

Beaches…

If you wish to see a combination of lush green mangroves and the turquoise crystal water then plan your visit to the Rampur Beach. This sight a very delightful one for your aspirations.

Another one named as Karmatang Beach is well known for its habitation site of the turtles mainly “Olive Ridley” and “Andaman Green” making the beach more attractive for the tourists. This Island is the best option if you are willing to spend your day with complete leisure and comfort then just lie down beside the clear water and the sliver sand all around. There are even good Hotels for your comfort stay arranged by the forest department.

Both these beaches are not more than 30-20km from Mayabuner, so surely pay your visit to these beauties.
